Polyaniline-DNA based sensor for the detection of anthracycline drugs

- Polyaniline was polymerized in the presence of DNA and oxalic acid as doping agents.
- The PANI/DNA film shows extended redox activity.
- Intercalation with anthracycline dyes decreased electron exchange rate.
- Down to 0.01 nM doxorubicin can be determined within 20 min.
