Cubically non-linear effects of plane waves in isotropic soft solid materials

► The equations describing non-linear dynamics of a soft solid model including higher order terms are studied. ► Cubically non-linear plane wave interactions in a soft solid model are investigated. ► The coefficients characterizing four-wave mixing are defined, calculated explicitly and expressed in terms of elastic constants.
