Spherical inflation of a class of compressible elastic bodies

► Elastic spheres with constitutive relations of the form B=f(T) are studied. ► Effect of a cavity in the above class of elastic spheres is studied. ► A rigid inclusion in the above class of elastic spheres is considered. ► Stress boundary layers develop close to the rigid inclusion and cavity.
