Multiple-peak probability density function of non-linear oscillators under Gaussian white noise

► The multiple-peak PDF of non-linear oscillators under Gaussian white noise is investigated. ► The exponential-polynomial closure method is proposed to obtain the PDF solution. ► The multiple solutions of the EQL method are considered with the proposed method. ► The proposed method presents good agreement with the exact solution using the multiple solutions.
