Loading frequencies up to 20Â Hz as an alternative to accelerate fatigue strength tests in a Y-TZP ceramic

- There is a moderate positive correlation between Y-TZP fatigue strength and loading frequency.
- Y-TZP fatigue strength was significantly higher at 40 Hz.
- Y-TZP fatigue strength did not differ among the frequencies 2, 10 and 20 Hz.
- Frequencies up to 20 Hz may be used to accelerate fatigue strength tests in Y-TZP.
