Ti-Nb-Sn-hydroxyapatite composites synthesized by mechanical alloying and high frequency induction heated sintering

► Novel Ti-Nb-Sn-HA composites by MA and high frequency induction heated sintering. ► Increasing the milling time could refine the grain size of sintered composites. ► The strength of sintered composites can be 877 MPa with a low elastic modulus of 22 GPa. ► The sintered composites have good biocompatibility.
