The EU Decarbonisation Roadmap 2050-What way to walk?

► We extend the CGE model PACE until 2050 and include energy technologies. ► We assess the newest EU Decarbonisation Roadmap in six policy scenarios. ► Global action with ETS and CDM credits from non-participants create low(est) costs. ► Mitigation costs can strongly increase at CO2 reductions around 80%. ► The policy effects vary strongly across EU sectors.
