Sustainable energy for the marine sector

► We projected CO2 emissions for different ship types by mid century. ► We applied a set of technologies/policies to reduce the 2050 emissions to a 450 ppm using wedges. ► Existing technologies/policies can cope with about 60% of the task. ► Further technologies are needed to achieve the share of responsibility for marine CO2 reductions.
