► Seafood is widely considered to be either fished or farmed. ► Many types of seafood are produced using a combination of both fishery and aquaculture techniques. ► Using only “fished” or “farmed”can mask the growth potential and environmental impacts of seafood. ► Adding a hybrid category would improve the study and management of global seafood production.
