Understanding the regional context of sustainable concrete in Asia: Case studies in Thailand and Korea

► We propose that sustainability of concrete should consider regional context. ► We conducted interviews with concrete stakeholders in Thailand and Korea. ► In both countries stakeholders have a similar concept for sustainable concrete. ► Thailand focuses on a materials perspective whereas Korea focuses on construction. ► Focus on initial cost restrains stakeholders from moving towards sustainability.
