Ten years after the publication of the law of March 4th, 2002, it seems always appropriate to mention the practical difficulties encountered both by the patients and by the doctors in the expression and reception of the will at the end of life. If the situation is very different according to the state of consciousness of the person, it is nevertheless a sense of ambiguity that dominates because despite the principle of primacy of the will and the palliative legal rules, the expression of the will at this stage of the existence remains very delicate.
