Le droit à l'ère des neurosciences

Neuroscience, defined as the study of the structure and of the functioning of the nervous system, forms a scientific discipline in full expansion of which the potential applications outside research laboratories are numerous. Their impact on the different social sciences, that is philosophy, psychology, marketing, educational sciences etc. is today accompanied by an interesting appearance in law. The neuroscience's datas arouse an increasing interest in the juridical (ou legal) sphere throughout the use of cerebral imaging methods or the prescription of neuropharmacological treatments. Behind the neuro-legal and the neuro-law, neologism allowing to translate the anglo saxon term “neurolaw” are emerging rich prospects and interesting issues linked to ethics.
