Vulnérabilité, enfant et recherche médicale

Nowadays, biomedical research on children is a controversy issue but is largely assumed by international organisations as well as French law. In this paper, we will analyse relevant instruments produced by the European Union and the Council of Europe in order to solve existing tensions between biomedical progress and protection of vulnerability of children. We will show how French legislation has contributed in the respect of the balance of these interests, while respecting and encouraging minors 'autonomy.
