The legal systems of conditioned liberation are very alike in France and Belgium, but there are some important differencies. The authors analyse in the article the similarities and the differencies, special attention being paid to the function of structured evaluation scales in post-condemnation expertises and also to the juncture between the care team and the legal authority.
