چکیده انگلیسی
Direct energy deposition (DED) is an additive manufacturing process that forms products by melting the baseplate with a laser and then depositing powdered material to the melt pool. DED is suitable for metal materials and is applicable to forming dissimilar-metal joints that are lightweight, functional, at low production costs. This study evaluates the mechanical properties of an Inconel625-SUS316L joint produced by DED under various deposition conditions through tensile strength and hardness measurements. Element analysis is also performed around the dissimilar-metal joint boundary to determine the strength of deposited objects. The measurement and element analysis results show that the tensile strength and hardness of the joint are sufficient owing to solid solution of alloying elements around the boundary.
