Evaluation of lines of boron, phosphorus and sulfur by high-resolution continuum source flame atomic absorption spectrometry for plant analysis

► A method for B, P and S determination in plants by HR-CS FAAS was developed. ► Integration of absorbance using increased pixels of detector improved sensitivity. ► Summation of absorbance of different lines also enhanced sensitivity. ► Integration of absorbance presented advantages over the summation of lines. ► Boron, P and S were accurately determined in 12 medicinal plants by HR-CS FAAS.
