Microanalytical characterization of decorations in handmade ancient floor tiles using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES)

► A total of 42 ceramic floor tiles from the 16th to the 21th, were investigated. ► The micro sampling method, proposed by us includes advantages. ► Decorations were obtained with a limited number compounds.
