Dispersive micro-solid phase extraction with ionic liquid-modified silica for the determination of organophosphate pesticides in water by ultra performance liquid chromatography

► Ionic liquid-modified silica is evaluated as sorbent in dispersive micro-SPE. ► The sorbent is evaluated considering the interaction mechanism with the analytes. ► Four organophosphate pesticides are isolated from environmental waters. ► The limits of detection were acceptable with good precision and recoveries.
