Unique adsorption behaviors of NO and O2 at hydrogenated anatase TiO2(101)

The extra electron on the hydrogenated anatase TiO2(101) is localized at the nearest Ti5c only, and the charge-transfer promoted NO and O2 adsorptions are also site-selective. These results are totally different from those at hydrogenated rutile TiO2(110).
