Iron(II) hydrides bearing a tetradentate PSNP ligand

Iron(II) hydrides bearing PSNP tetradentate ligand were synthesized and well characterized. The hydrido iron complex [2H(NCMe)]BF4 is an extremely efficient catalyst for the hydroboration of aldehydes at room temperature.
