Synthesis, crystal structure, and photoelectrical property of a new (3, 6) connected 3D Zn(II) coordination polymer

One new 3D Zn(II) coordination polymer based on H2L (H2L = 4-[(8-hydroxy-5-quinolinyl)azo]-benzenesulfonic acid), [ZnL(H2O)]n (1), has been synthesized. This compound displays an amazing (3, 6)-connected topological net. Compound 1 is the first example of azo coordination compound co-sensitized TiO2 photoanode with N719. The result demonstrates the compound 1/N719/TiO2 solar cell exhibited excellent photovoltaic performance. Fluorescent property was also performed.302
