Thermal and light induced spin crossover in a mononuclear iron(II) complex

A mononuclear spin crossover complex {Fe(L)2[N(CN)2]2} has been synthesized based on (naphth-1-yl)-N-(3,5-di(pyridin-2-yl)-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)methanimine. Thermal and light induced spin transition between the HS and the LS state was observed on Fe(II) ion.147
