Synthesis of 2D metal-organic coordination polymers with large internal cavities and their magnetic properties

► We synthesized two 1D metal-organic coordination polymers by solvothermal reactions. ► Two 1D metal-organic coordination polymers expanded into 2D supramolecular networks through π-π stacking interactions. ► These two 2D supramolecular networks showed unusually large internal void spaces. ► The networks showed weak antiferromagnetic exchange interactions at the low temperature.
