Synthesis, characterization and solvatochromism study of mixed-chelate copper(II) complexes: A combined experimental and density functional theoretical study

Solvatochromism behavior of three mixed chelate copper(II) complexes with β-diketonate and diamine ligands were investigated by SMLR computational method. The complexes showed a linear trend with the DN power of the solvents. A comparative experimental and computational study was performed on the X-ray structure of [Cu(Ph-acac)(diamine)]+ complex.
