Low dimensional magnetic assemblies based on MnIII(Schiff base) and/or Mer-tricyanidoferrate building blocks: Syntheses, crystal structures and magnetic properties

The mer-tricyanidoferrate building block, [FeIII(L)(CN)3]− (L = mpzcq, qcq) and the MnIII(Schiff base) precursors have been used to successfully synthesize four new low dimensional magnetic complexes and the 1-D supramolecular Mn2 chains which show slow magnetic relaxations are formed.
