Structural and magnetic properties of four layered dicyanamide-based coordination polymers: M{N(CN)2}2(DMSO)2, [MÂ =Â Mn, Fe, Co, Ni]

The crystal structures and magnetic properties of four layered dicyanamide based coordination polymers are presented. All four compounds are isostructural, forming two dimensional (4,4) pseudo square grid sheets. The compounds are paramagnetic, down to 2 K, with weak antiferromagnetic interactions.
