Genetic diversity of Chinese vegetable mustard (Brassica juncea Coss) landraces based on SSR data

► We detected the genetic diversity among and within Chinese vegetable mustard landraces. ► A high level of genetic diversity of Chinese vegetable mustard landraces was found. ► An obvious genetic deviation from Hardy-Weinberg expectation was observed both among and within landraces. ► A considerable genetic variation was revealed within rather than among landraces. ► This results provided the evidence for sub-classification in Chinese vegetable mustard.
