Exploring the genetic diversity of Cynodon radiatus (Poaceae) accessions using ISSR markers

► ISSR markers were used to assess the genetic diversity of Cynodon radiatus. ► 14 primers were used to amplify specific C. radiatus genomic sequences. ► 189 ISSR fragments were generated. ► Genetic similarity coefficients ranged from 0.45 to 0.90. ► Cluster analysis separated the accessions into 4 distinct groups.
