N-phenylsulfonyl-3,5-bis(arylidene)-4-piperidone derivatives as activation NF-κB inhibitors in hepatic carcinoma cell lines

Twenty four novel symmetric or dissymmetric 3,5-bis(arylidene)-4-piperidone derivatives (BAPs) were synthesized. Their cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory activity were evaluated and BAP 23 could inhibit NF-κB activation both in inflammation and cancer.294
