Design, synthesis and in vitro evaluation of novel ursolic acid derivatives as potential anticancer agents

A series of novel piperazine-thioureas-UA derivatives (6-7) was designed and synthesized as antitumor agents. Representative compound 6r blocked the HeG2 cell cycle at G1 phase and induced apoptosis of this cell through mitochondrial pathway.
