Synthesis of some novel 1-(2-naphthyl)-2-(imidazol-1-yl)ethanone oxime ester derivatives and evaluation of their anticonvulsant activity

► New (arylalkyl)imidazole oxime esters were synthesized. ► The anticonvulsant activity was examined according to the ASP of NIH. ► The aliphatic oxime ester derivatives were found to be more active than aromatic acid esters. ► Most compounds were found to be protective in MES test.
