Synthesis and in vitro evaluation of novel tetrazole embedded 1,3,5-trisubstituted pyrazoline derivatives as Entamoeba histolytica growth inhibitors

► Novel pyrazoline derivatives bearing tetrazole tail have been synthesized. ► Compounds were characterized using elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques. ► Compounds were evaluated for their antiamoebic activity and cytotoxicity profile. ► 13a was obtained as least cytotoxic and excellent Entamoeba histolytica inhibitor.
