Travelling waves near a critical point of a binary fluid mixture

► Travelling waves of densities are studied near a critical point of a binary mixture of fluids. ► The free energy is considered in a universal non-local form taking account of the density gradients. ► A rescaling procedure allows obtaining travelling waves with non-monotonic profiles of densities.
