The effect of the active layer thickness on the performance of pentacene-based phototransistors

► We discussed the fabrication and characterization of pentacene-based phototransistors. ► We characterized the pentacene photoelectric properties under UV. ► We observed the higher shift in the threshold voltage for thinner pentacene films. ► A high photosensitivity of 6.5 × 104 was obtained.
