Effect of thermal treatments on the properties of PVK/silicon nanowires films for hybrid solar cells

► Hybrid solar cells based on blends of poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) and silicon nanowires as electron donor and electron acceptor have been fabricated. ► We have studied the effect of the annealing temperature and time on the charge transfer process between SiNWs and PVK. ► We have investigated the effects of thermal annealing on the photovoltaic characteristics leading to the optimization of annealing temperature and time.
