Dielectric relaxation and electro-optical switching behavior of nematic liquid crystal dispersed in poly(methyl methacrylate)

► We have explored of the electro-optical and dielectric properties of PDLC films. ► We can tune the dielectric properties of composite by controlling LC loading. ► Composites 70 and 80 wt.% E44 showed a favored morphology with better responses. ► Semicircle shape of Cole-Cole plots emphasizes the monodispersive nature. ► The dielectric properties of these systems conclude the Debye type behavior.
