A theoretical investigation of unsteady thermally stratified flow of γAl2O3−H2O and γAl2O3−C2H6O2 nanofluids through a thin slit
چکیده انگلیسی
The nonlinear-radiative flow of γAl2O3−H2O and γAl2O3−C2H6O2 through a thin slit is considered in the presence of magnetic field and resistive heating. Self-similar flow model of the nanofluids is obtained with the help of feasible set of similarity transformations. The nonlinear nanofluid model thus obtained is tackled by means of Runge-Kutta numerical method. Influence of pertinent parameters are investigated on the flow regimes. The behavior of skin friction coefficient and local rate of heat transfer is portrayed graphically. It is concluded that Rd favors the temperature of the flow system. On the other hand, unsteady parameter and volumetric fraction of nanoparticles lead to decrement in temperature. For the temperature ratio parameter βw, a rapid rise in temperature is observed and for γAl2O3−H2O, the temperature rises rapidly. It is also observed that for nanofluids, heat transfer increases rapidly and decreases slowly as compared to that of conventional fluids.
