Models for lattice thermal expansion and thermal conductivity for ternary (ANB2+NC27−N) tetrahedral semiconductors

► We have presented two expressions relating the lattice thermal expansion coefficient and lattice thermal conductivity. ► Three parameters, ionic charge, nearest neighbour distance and melting temperature can completely describe the lattice thermal expansion coefficient and lattice thermal conductivity of chalcopyrite semiconductors. ► Ionic charge is useful I analyzing the physical properties of solids.
