DNA-cyclodextrin-inorganic hybrid material for absorbent of various harmful compounds

▶ A DNA-cyclodextrin (CD)-inorganic hybrid material was prepared. ▶ The DNA-CD hybrid with inorganic components showed the high mechanical property. ▶ DNA-CD hybrid material possessed the property of intercalation and encapsulation. ▶ This hybrid material accumulated the various harmful compounds. ▶ DNA-CD hybrid material has the potential to be used as an environmental material [5], [6], [7].
