Effect of alloying on corrosion resistance of B2 FeAl alloy in aqueous solution of sulfuric acid

▶ The corrosion studies carried out for FeAl and FeAlCrZrB alloys in a sulfuric acid solution. ▶ The results have shown improved corrosion resistance iron aluminide with alloying elements. ▶ The occurrence of pitting corrosion at a binary B2 FeAl alloy has been found. ▶ The intercrystalline corrosion have been observed in the Cr-, Zr- and B-doped alloy.
