Nucleation kinetics and growth aspects of glycine phosphite ferroelectric single crystals

▶ The nucleation parameters of GPI were determined on the basis of the classical nucleation theory. ▶ The solubility, metastable zonewidth and induction period have been experimentally determined. ▶ Bulk size GPI single crystal was grown in the wider metastable zonewidth. ▶ The structural perfection and the defect structures of the as grown specimens were studied.
