Structures and electronic properties of the one-dimensional C60O polymers

► Eight possible one dimensional C60O polymers are constructed. ► When the sides of furan ring are 6/6 bonds, the C60O polymer will be more stable. ► All the C60O polymers studied are semiconductors. ► Mobilities of C60 polymer can't be improved after the introduction of oxygen bridge. ► These C60O polymers have smaller Young moduli than the carbon nanotubes.
