Effect of thermo-mechanical cycling on the microstructure and strength of lath martensite in the weld CGHAZ of HSLA steel

► Deformation in CGHAZ promoted fne martensite lath and precipitation. ► Lath martensite strength in deformed CGHAZ was a higher than undeformed one. ► This is due to contribution of grain boundary and precipitation strengthening.
