Effects of alloying elements in GH99 superalloy on microstructure evolution of reactive brazing TiAl/GH99 joints

► The distribution of alloying elements in GH99/Ti/TiAl joint was analyzed. ► The alloying elements delayed the liquid phase formation of GH99/Ti/TiAl joint. ► The alloying elements promoted the formation of β-Ti + α-Ti + α2 phase in joint. ► The alloying elements had positive effects on ductility and high temperature properties of joint.
