Temperature effects on liquid-state Sn/Co interfacial reactions

► Interfacial reactions in liquid-state Sn/Co interfacial reactions. ► With increasing temperatures, the CoSn3 phase transforms into CoSn2 at 327 °C. ► The growth kinetic parameters for CoSn3 were determined. ► Two-stage reactions were used to investigate the thermal stability of CoSn2. ► The peritectic temperature of Liquid + CoSn2 → CoSn3 was determined around 327 °C.
