Low temperature thermoelectric properties of melt spun Bi85Sb15 alloys

► Melt spinning was firstly used to fabricate homogenous Bi85Sb15 alloys. ► The preparation period of MS-SPS was largely shortened within 2 h. ► The microstructures and thermoelectric properties were analyzed. ► A highest Z of 2.74 × 10−3 K−1 was obtained for the sample with highest cooling rate.
