Microstructure and magnetic properties of melt spinning Ni-Mn-Ga

► Textured Ni51Mn28.5Ga20.5 polycrystalline ribbons were prepared by melt spinning method with different spinning speeds. ► The effect of spinning speed on the structural and magnetic properties were investigated for the ribbons. ► Local and long-range effects were revealed for the melt spinning ribbons.
