Alloying effects on the phase equilibria among Ni(A1), Ni3Al(L12) and Ni3V(D022) phases

► We investigated alloying effects on phase stability among Ni, Ni3Al and Ni3V phases. ► Ti, Nb, Ta, Cr, W, Re, Co and Si were selected as the alloying element. ► We found that the alloying elements can be classified into four groups. ► The effects were interpreted in terms of mixing enthalpy and electron concentration.
