Dry sliding wear of nanostructured Fe30Ni20Mn20Al30

► Dry sliding wear of B2/L21 two-phases nanostructured Fe30Ni20Mn20Al30 was studied. ► The annealed alloy showed improved wear behavior than the as-cast alloy. ► The wear rate was more sensitive to oxygen than to moisture in the environment. ► Abrasive wear, deformation and delamination took place in the wear process. ► Tribolayer was examined by TEM using specimens produced by FIB milling.
