Phase formation in Al-Fe thin film systems

► In this study we investigated the phase formation in Al-Fe thin films. ► We characterized the samples by in-situ X-ray diffraction and resistance measurements. ► The energies of activation of Al6Fe, Al5Fe2 and AlFe were calculated.
